Ability to meet Delivery Schedules

ED&C has never stopped production. Within multiple industries, ED&C is known for meeting its schedule commitments. In the automotive industry, ED&C is committed to a fixed price contract and the schedule does not change. From this, ED&C has learned that the key to successful and timely project implementation is through detailed project planning, which is dependent upon identifying the tasks to be completed, identifying the responsible parties, and monitoring progress. The Project Schedule is the tool ED&C depends upon as the basis for activity planning and monitoring. Once developed, the Project Schedule is reviewed by the project team to ensure that the following is accounted for:
     Equipment/component lead times
Projected time to complete each task
     Projected manpower required
     Potential conflicts in the schedule
     Equipment
     Tools
     Infrastructure needed for the project

The schedule is well communicated to everyone within ED&C. Program Managers are committed to meeting as aggressive a schedule as possible without sacrificing overall quality. The project schedule is reviewed regularly at internal project meetings. Video conferencing is utilized to ensure all project participants can be involved in these meetings. Upcoming activities are reviewed and progress of ongoing activities is related. If a potential schedule delay is recognized, corrective action is implemented as early as possible to ensure completion of the task and minimize impact on the schedule.

In no way will your schedule be in conflict with resources applied to the other programs ED&C is currently developing and implementing.
